A great time here with some friends. Only a 30min wait while all other places was 2-3 hours. Lots of seating Next to canal, great place to walk along the water.. Really impressed. Great wait staff. Kids had fun, it's in the Wharf area so lots to do within walking distance. Will go back for sure. If you want a great burger .. Come here!!! You can also sub your fries for sautéed veggies which were yummy, but if you want fries they are good too!

Sadly, one of the worst meals we have had in a very long time. Every single dish was overcooked. We started with the peel and eat shrimp, expecting fresh delicious gulf shrimp. Instead we got mushy, fishy, old, overseasoned shrimp. My son's cheeseburger was so overdone that it was actually hard and difficult to cut. Pretty much inedible. The mahi and the chicken we ordered: much of the same. Way over cooked and tough. The vegetable side was sloppy, unevenly cut, and unevenly cooked. The beans were actually fairly decent though. The only redeeming factor was our server, Dominic, who was beyond kind and accommodating. Service was slow but I don't think that was his doing. He was really great and honestly should be working somewhere with better food. We were very hungry and had 2 small kids with us. Wait was minimal and the entertainment outside was nice. We were able to get through the meal but we definitely regretted it. Wish there was more positive to say. So many amazing options in the area. This place isn't worth it. Skip it.

Sadly, this place did not live up to expectations. The atmosphere is good. It's a typical touristy seafood joint. But the service takes forever. We were seated right away. Order a doz raw oysters to start and a burger for our son. They both arrived about 20 minutes later. We then ordered two grilled fish taco plates. 45 minutes later, we got said plates. The plate has two tacos. Each contained probably 3 oz of white fish, frozen, not fresh. Piled on top was a load of cabbage, a lot of shredded cheese, and diced tomatoes. All that is wrapped in a flour tortilla. The toppings and tortilla were all you could taste. They were more of a cabbage and cheese taco with fish and tomato garnish. It's really not what one would expect of fish tacos. Treat this place like Mexico, and don't drink the water. It tastes terrible. I tried our son's Sprite (which you pay for because a kids meal doesn't include a drink) and it had the same awful taste. I can't explain it well, other than it's just awful. Our server never really apologized for the slow service. She was nice and all, but 45 minutes for plates that take 15 minutes to put together at home is just too long. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. The whole Wharf area is ok, but it's one big tourist trap and they don't even try to hide it.

Food was pretty good. Wife had shrimp tacos, daughter ate chicken strips with fries and I had the Fried fish and French fries. We ordered a dozen oysters on the half shell and conch fritters as appetizers. Our waitress off the rip was kinda slow and her responses appeared to be that she was either new or was lazy. Off the rip she started getting our order wrong starting with our drinks. Wife ordered a strawberry daiquiri, and the rest of us ordered water with lemon. Waters came, no lemon. Party that got to their table 10 minutes after we were seated ordered drinks after us and got drinks including beers. Waited 15 minutes before reminding her about the drink. I didn't bother reminding her about the lemons for our beverages. Our appetizers came late, and food arrived 5 minutes after getting appetizers. I don't know if our server was a smoker and smoking but she was not there attending to any other tables except ours. Ran out of water and she didn't offer refills. My wife ordered fish tacos but got shrimp tacos. I didn't say anything because my wife said the tacos were delicious. When it came to getting our bill she was right there to get her job done and over with. I asked her to break a twenty for me so I could leave a tip and she thought she was being real slick by giving me a ten and two fives knowing well that breaking a twenty means a ten, a five and five singles. I still left a 20 percent tip even though she did not deserve it nor earned it. If it wasn't for the shitty service we would have probably given this place 5 stars.

Pros - Gazpacho was pretty good. Family liked the fish tacos, salad and burger. Also, the glider benches outside were pretty cool. It is pretty cool to be right near the marina too. But, it was really hot, so I would recommend eating inside. Cons - wait staff. Very unfriendly greeter. Our waitress kept making excuses for why our food was late. It wasn't apologetic either - just blame shifting. In fairness, it was likely the kitchen's fault. But don't shift blame, just apologize and offer compensation.

We went in here for a late lunch - made for some pretty awesome timing: no wait, weather was nice, tennis & soccer were on the TVs. A good start! It's a pretty cool laid back atmosphere infront of the boat docks at the wharf, nice interior with massive windows, a bar (with a few TVs) spanning the interior of the restaurant. We started with the gumbo - which seemed to have sausage (and... perhaps some fish) for its meat. This gumbo was pretty awesome - full of flavor and kick. I'd highly recommend this as your appetizer... and main course. (Just order 2, what the heck). The jumbo fried shrimp plate wasn't so... jumbo. It was your average sized plate of fried shrimp, fries and hush puppies. It was pretty good (maybe not $18 good). Fries were good too. All in all - a fun experience - tho might continue exploring to see what else is around the wharf next time.

We sat outside, great tables outside that swing, very comfortable. Waitress was Amanda from Jersey she was wonderful! All our food was fabulous, would recommend this place for the view and atmosphere.

TERRIBLE service when checking in, totally forgot about us and I Had to ask and they didn't have our name written down. Then I got my appetizer the very last thing after asking for it and part of my meal several times!

My family and I ate here the other night on our vacation to Orange Beach and I can tell you this place was AWESOME!!!! The fried crab claws as well as the fried Wickles and Pickles for appetizers were fantastic. I had the fried dolphin "mahi" sandwich and the rest of the family had other types of fish, shrimp or what have you and everything was wonderful. The staff was very pleasant and our waitress was very insightful and patient with our group of 9. Also folks, if you ever get a chance to stop in order you a Pina Colada or a Bushwacker. I hate Pina Colada's, but I can tell you their's could seriouly change my view because it was one of the best tasting drinks I ever had. All of their adult beverages are hand made and not from a can or mix so that tell's me they care about their end product. Don't take my word for it, stop in and try it yourself, you WON'T be disappointed!

Decent food nothing amazing but good place to stop after some shopping. Our waiter was very nice and enjoyable. The shrimp basket was yummy and so were the chicken tenders. Only complaint was that we weren't asked if we wanted to sit inside or out and so ended up being stuck outside with sweaty kids.

Tourist trap as far as I am concerned. Food is way overpiced and they had us sitting in a walk way... Would not recommend at all.

WARNING WARNING This is a tourist joint. That should be a given, giving the location and everything but just wanted to get that information out there. Happy hour did not include beers? We ordered a round of beers then found out it only applied to mixed well drinks? We ordered appetizers and they never showed up. The manager said they were put in but never prepared the waitress said they were ready but after our meal. They did give us a choice free dessert or they would package our appetizers to go and we could take them with us free of charge. Since we were in a hotel with no way to heat anything we went with the free dessert. I had the grilled fish tacos. They were pretty good but nothing to get excited about. The sauce they served on the side was pretty good and it definitely "jazzed up" the flavor of the tacos. I ordered the veggies to avoid fries and they were very spicy with a blackened type seasoning and the portion size was rather small. If there was 3 oz there I would have been surprised. There are so many great places in the area to eat that this would only be my choice if we had to pick something at The Wharf. The pricing on the menu seemed odd most of the items were what I would call reasonably priced but it you wanted an actual seafood dinner type meal it seemed a little pricey. Thus I had the fish tacos. The wait service was also kind of odd. One person took our orders, another brought our food. The manager checked on us because of the appetizer error and the first waitress brought us our checks. There wasn't any continuity to the service.

The service was incredibly slow but the mahi was very good, and the sweet potato fries with their sweet chili dipping sauce were incredible! I also had the happy hour $1.99 piña colada and it was the best I've ever had. Only 3 stars not 4 because it took a long time to get anything and our waiter wasn't very knowledgeable.

Nice atmosphere! Food was not what we expected for the price. With so much access to local fresh seafood you would expect their seafood to be fresh. It was not! The shrimp were frozen shrimp and the fresh catch of the day did not taste fresh. Very disappointed.
